Setting up subversion on a plesk server
Step 1) Install subversion
yum install subversion mod_dav_svn
Step 2) Create the root repository dir
mkdir /var/www/svn
Step 3) Create a your project
svnadmin create MyProject
Step 4) Make project writable by apache
chown -R apache.apache /var/www/svn/MyProject
Step 5) Create the virtual host configuration, in the domains vhost.conf
cd /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/conf
vim vhost.conf
Paste the following
<Location /repos> DAV svn SVNParentPath /var/www/svn # # Limit write permission to list of valid users. <LimitExcept GET PROPFIND OPTIONS REPORT> # Require SSL connection for password protection. # SSLRequireSSL # AuthType Basic AuthName "Authorization Realm" AuthUserFile /var/www/passwd Require valid-user </LimitExcept> </Location>
Step 6) Update plesks configuration
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/websrvmng -a
Step 7) Create your authentication file
